A recent gathering in Madrid brought together faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how open dialogue can strengthen coexistence.
During the event, participants addressed themes such as religious freedom, intercultural coexistence and human dignity. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
